Ramona Mosley, MS, CPS has over 20 years of experience in public health, chronic disease prevention and substance misuse prevention. She currently serves as a Workforce Development Coordinator for CASAT at the University of Nevada, Reno. In this role, she provides Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) services for the Pacific Southwest Prevention Technology Transfer Center’s prevention workforce. Prior to this, Ramona served as the Director of a statewide obesity prevention programs funded by the Department of Public Health focused on reducing obesity in populations of low socioeconomic status. She has two decades of experience in health education and promotion, conducting training for state and county health departments, social service, community organizations, and sate, regional and local coalitions in policy, systems, and environmental change public health strategies. Ramona has presented at statewide and national conferences and has co-authored articles, case studies, and publications related to obesity prevention approaches. She believes that all individuals no matter where they live, work, play, or pray deserve the right to a healthy safe life.
